Our work at Holkham Hall is transforming the old potteries building into a large multi-use space.

The 1862 bowling alley, laundry building and various additions are being brought into one space by large expanses of wall removal – replaced with slender exposed precast concrete columns just 150mm thick. New side wing roofs have been erected with oak and stainless steel bowstring trusses.

When complete the space will seat over 200 people for dinners and a variety of events hosted by the Holkham Estate.

We have added some of our early engineering sketches to the photo reel here – many of the original concepts and small details have found their way in to the completed structure.
