This summer has seen a number of Smith and Wallwork projects achieve planning permission.

The Moller Centre Extension, Cambridge University Boat Club, The Sliding House and Marsh Hill House have all received approval. Our work at the planning stage of a project can vary from design support to compiling detailed planning submission documents. The Boat Club plans saw us produce a flood risk assessment, sustainable drainage plan, alterations to the flood defense and the design of a new road entrance and junction.

This sort of work requires close liaison with authorities such as the Environment Agency and County Highways. The Cambridge University Boat Club SuDS design by Smith and Wallwork was highlighted by the Environment Agency as being exemplar, fully integrated into the overall design from the building and landscape.
